Raed of the Month (March 2020)

Being a bit late with my monthly Read of the Month post has meant I can join in World Book Day. 

Why in a blog about Motorhoming do I post about books?

Well when I am out and about in my motorhome getting access to the myriad of TV programmes is frequently difficult because of the poor signals.

I read instead. BUT I now only read non-fiction

(this is despite the fact that there is a plethora of amazing fiction available)

Trying to find good non-fiction books on a wide range of subjects is VERY difficult.

(Amazon and other book sites keep recommending different books about the same subject.
This is of no use to me).

My previous Read of the Month demonstrate an eclectic range.

Last month was an autobiography this month it is a scientific book focusing on chemistry.

Stuff Matters

Each chapter's title gives a one word definition of the significant quality of the material to be discussed.
With 10 chapters, that is 10 different materials ranging from steel to chocolate.
The author then explains the composition and uses of the material.

It is a wonderful book.
It is informative especially highlighting the complexities of the material as it is used currently.
It is also well organized with a varied approach to each material and entertaining.

It changed the way I look at the world.
